Richard Johnson qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 1991 and has worked in the Legal profession in South and West Yorkshire ever since.

For the last 20 years plus Richard has specialised in Family Law including Divorce/Dissolution, disputes relating to children in relation to with who they live, and time spent with the other parent, along with cases where one parent wishes to relocate with the child. Richard also deals with the financial aspects of Divorce/Dissolution, and has dealt with numerous cases ranging from people with very little to argue over to cases involving assets totalling millions. Richard also deals with Domestic violence cases such as Non-Molestation and Occupation orders.

Richard deals with much of his own advocacy in the cases that he deals with, and likes to give honest advise from the first meeting with any client.

Richard also recognises that Divorce is also one of the most stressful things to happen to most people and does his best to take his clients through the process without adding to the stress.
